Sustainability is part of our organisation’s DNA, and has been for over 15 years. We have embedded it into every aspect of the work we do.

The Journey
Our Sustainability Strategy and Plan is the result of a three-year journey of research, consultation and consideration.

2013
Our existing strategy is due for a renewal.

2014-2015
We undertake a rigorous process of research, benchmarking and testing new targets and indicators to best align with our evolving portfolio of projects.

2016
We test our thinking with industry experts and seek feedback. We evaluate the varied opportunities, constraints, strengths and weaknesses that each project will need to address under the new sustainability strategy.

March - May 2017
We share the draft strategy with industry and the public, and collect feedback on the proposed leadership goals and targets.

Material Issues
This report identifies and discloses the material aspects of our operations, in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Guidelines. We are in the process of transitioning to reporting against the new GRI Standards.

Reporting Boundaries
Our Sustainable Places Strategy applies to all new masterplan activity and projects during the 2018 reporting period. As a masterplan developer we use a variety of structures to deliver projects.
